MID-MOUNTAINS GARDEN FESTIVAL POSTER COMPETITION 2026

ELIGIBILITY:

  • Current students enrolled at Hazelbrook Public School in 2026

COMPETITION REQUIREMENTS:

Using art materials like markers, colour pencils, pastels, watercolour, acrylics or similar:

  1. Create your own unique version of the Mid-Mountains Garden Festival Logo. It doesn’t have to be an exact copy, our logo just needs to inspire you to make something similar!  Download a high res version of logo here
  2. Draw a floral border of natives or wildflowers
  3. Artwork must be done on the A3 entry form, available at the school office.

HOW TO SUBMIT

  • Write your name, class and parent/carer’s contact phone number at the back of your artwork in pencil.
  • Submit your entry in any of the following ways:
    – Hand your A3 artwork into the school office
    – Ask your parent/carer to scan your artwork and email it to midmountainsgardenfestival@gmail.com with the subject heading “MMGF Poster Art Competition 2026”, including your name, class and parent/carer’s contact phone number in the email.

PRIZE

  • The winning entry will be used in the final design of the Mid-Mountains Garden Festival poster for 2026, with artist credits, and the final poster displayed across the Blue Mountains area to promote the Festival in the lead up and during both weekends of the Festival.
  • A $100 voucher from a local art supplies store in the Blue Mountains

JUDGING

  • All entries must be handed in to the school office by 3pm on 22 May 2026 and will be judged by Mid-Mountains Garden Festival committee members.
  • The winning entry will be contacted by 27 May 2026.
